City of Algoma Mainstreet Sculpture

Here is a metal sculpture made for charity for the City of Algoma. It will sit at the Public Library for the summer and then be auctioned off. There are 22 of them and they all had to be altered, decorated in some way. The first photo is of the blank everyone was given. The second photo is half way and the last photo is of it done. I will take a picture of it installed at the library with plants growing in it. There are two sides to it and I made both sides the same so it can be viewed 360 degrees. the bottom is meant to be a planter and the rest a trellis. In the final picture there is rust enhancer stuff running down the metal. It will be a rusty background with stainless steel relief that will stay bright and shiny and I will actually wax them in the morning. Loved the way the butterfly turned out. Lot of dirty work but fun.
