Made it home last night from being gone 6 days… It was a good experience. I learned a lot for the benefit of my business and my goals. I am very happy to be home. It’s hard to go away when where you live is so great. Even the nicest hotel does not compare to sitting on my porch. I worked for the six days basically from 5:30 am to midnight. This is why I observed all the booths have 3-4 staff members manning them, hmmmm…. I am one person….. hmmm???? My class that I taught was wonderful. The show itself is a wonderful show full of talent and beautiful things for sale. The next few pictures are of the stones I purchased. They are just laid out on a tray so I could show my kids. Interesting stuff! Can’t wait to use it. The last two days of the show I started making things behind my booth while I talked to people because I just needed to make something. I was surrounded by creativity and had to just make something! Funny, everything I made standing there with very little supplies or tools sold at the show. Thanks to Tammy Rae and her family for joining me in this adventure. I am sure they are as tired as I am today! Tomorrow I work as a nurse and Wednesday I will put the shop back together and finish up custom orders, ring sizing and a couple simple repairs. Back to normal, yippee!
