Bead and Button
I’ve been here two days: in Milwaukee at the worlds largest bead show. It’s been just awesome. I have more pictures for you off my camera that I’ll load later. The class I taught was yesterday ~ had a blast and thank you very much to all the ladies attending. We tore that room up! Several of the ladies with some experience coming into class made bangles similar to the ones in the above photo. It was great to see them ‘come alive’ with ideas for their own creations. Really Really Fun. Tonight is the meet the teacher reception….. From everyone’s advice here it’s a stampede of women that are lined up outside! Cannot imagine it yet but I will let you know later how it goes. Very nice to be immersed in people of like minds ~ making jewelry.

I am so excited for you. Glad to hear that things are going well. I have done bracelets similar to this, though I haven’t soldered them closed. We riveted them. I can’t wait to get a big torch again and be able to work with larger items.
Good luck with the rest of the week. I hope everything goes smoothly. Oh, and I LOVE your cart in the next post with the items in your room. I totally want one of those.
