Got a lot going on in the shop these days. I have inventory going out to stores for summertime stock and new ideas for regular product line design. When I make earrings I may try a dozen designs. Only 3 or 4 of the designs I will decide to put in inventory as a stocked design and not mean it to be one of a kind. I don’t do this with a lot of necklaces unless they are castings. Most of the necklaces are one of a kind, but earrings are fun purchase and often a gift purchase and I have several designs that are always in stock. 75 items will be out the door to The Flying Pig Gallery this coming week….. and wrapping up a bunch of show dates. Help! Paperwork overload!
The earrings are a little copper dish with sterling drops sitting on the edge, a post style earring that is not the typical for me and small which is also not typical for me. In the slideshow the first picture is of a 3×3 inch pendant that is dear to me… it sold yesterday to a woman in Long Beach California. Got a tear in my eye literally because that piece just makes me smile looking at it but it’s going to a good home. The second pendant I just made this week and love it. The orange, pink hues to the stone are just beautiful and the style of the pendant is very feminine…
I am off to set all those stones in my stone tray… one down ~ 100 to go!
AHHHH!!!! So inspiring. I love the pieces. I adore your attention to detail and all the little things. I have some tools for you and I will be in touch shortly. 🙂 I can’t wait to get back into my studio and working. Now that Canada is done with, I hope to be in there after I get done with Spring break with the girls. Good luck setting all those stones. 🙂
