I took a Viking Knit class a while ago. It was great and my teacher was great. I really enjoy making chain so Viking Knit was a natural for me. It makes beautiful handmade chains and bracelets. This kit was showcased in a tool section in one of the magazines I subscribe too so I purchased it. It’s great. It does not replace taking a class in person but it does a great job with instructions and you can ‘DIY’ if you don’t have a class available to you. Just use copper wire while you are practicing. The chain I made in the photo was from 30 gauge fine silver wire.  I wanted the wire to be as fine as possible so I ended up with a dense ‘cable’ instead of a loose ‘weave’. I normally use 24 gauge fine silver wire for a necklace or bracelet. This product was worth the $50. Give it a try.
