Happy New Year!!! Hope everyone had a great holiday. If you live in the midwest could it possibly get any colder? It is has not been this cold here since 1996. It was -18 degrees below zero on my porch this week 3 or 4 mornings in a row and actually the past month as been below normal temps. I usually enjoy the outdoors even in the winter but not like this, wow, shocking cold. Now it’s the weekend…30 degrees and an inch of ice rain. Hmmm… I know there are some of you that live in Hawaii like Georgette… I am very jealous of you right now.
Just getting back into making things that are not custom orders. Christmas is so busy with custom orders I don’t make any jewelry for my Wild Prairie Silver line until now… January and February is the time to make, make, make. From Thanksgiving until after New Years it is time to make production custom pieces from other peoples ideas. It is fun to make their dreams develop into an actual item….. I do have some custom work to do for other companies. That is going to be a fun venture.

The beads spin freely within the hammered circles of the necklace. I made a second necklace that is a little bit different than this one but just as colorful….these necklaces are heading to the Orlando Wholesale Crafts Show and to Tucson Gem Show with a few other items we collaborated on. This is my annual stats from my page. I always get a kick out of it. Check it out if you care too. Have a great weekend and I will post new things and new tools as I work with them in the upcoming two months. Stay warm.
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 19,000 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 7 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
Your work is beautiful, as always. Stay inside, keep warm and create!
Thanks Keith! I’ll try and stay warm but it’s no easy task!
